Basham & Lucas Design Group is always looking for talented individuals who are interested in themed architecture and landscape design for resorts, master planned communities, retail, entertainment, family fun centers, golf clubs etc.
Even though we produce a high volume of work, we have a relaxed, fun office where each person is given respect for their work and what they bring to the firm. It is a positive atmosphere that encourages people to excel, thus creating personal growth and the highest level of design for our clients.
As a prerequisite, AutoCAD proficiency and some working document experience is necessary. Full-time experience with construction documents and construction administration is preferred.
We offer a unique working environment in our design group, which is located in a mixed use development, Village Walk, that was designed by
our firm. Our home city, Jacksonville, has a
thriving, growing downtown with art and
museum districts, shopping and restaurants at Jacksonville Landing, and exciting sports
complexes for baseball and football. Alltel
Stadium is the home of the Jacksonville
Jaguars and Super Bowl XXXIX. Jacksonville
also has some of Florida's most beautiful beaches.
Our firm also provides an environment of
support to recent graduates who are working
on their internship and licensing requirements.
A focus on professional development provides valuable opportunities within the firm which
include client contact, consultant coordination
and other project management responsibilities which contribute to a more thorough
understanding of the design process and the personal relationships with the client and all
parties involved.
